I used to tell my wife I was promoting alien technology, and she didn’t believe me at all, mocking and ridiculing me. In recent years, as netizens frequently visited our home and showed me respect, she vaguely realized I’m not just an ordinary farmer. She said to me:
“You damn dog, always bragging online—what if the government calls you up one day? You really think you can build that flying saucer? If you can’t, you think they’ll let it slide?”
“You don’t get it. If they call me, I’d just go to lecture. I won’t build it myself—I’ll teach others how to do it.”
“Lecturing’s useful? You think you can just talk it into existence?”
“Everyone has their role. I just need to lecture; building it is for another group.”
I won’t be involved in the hands-on development of artificial fields. In today’s highly specialized society, all I need to do is provide the theory and calculations—others can take it from there.
